1967-1968 - NAS Grosse Ile (decommissioned 1969)
I was in high school and was graduating 1968. Went to
basic training (2 weeks no kidding) on
Grosse
ILE NAS, Michigan. USN didn't teach me how to shoot a fire arms. Only 2 weeks during Christmas Vacation and
went back to school. Graduated in June, 1968. 40th class reunion was on Sept 13, 2008
see class reunion that collaborated to establish and still the sponsor of it.

April 1, 1969 - Oct 31, 1970 US Naval Air Station - Agana,
Guam
I was able to fly to many places because of the Search and Rescue Team - we were
in the Grumman HU16
aircraft. We flew
to Siapan, Rota, Truk Islands, Phillipines, Tiawan, Ulithi Atoll. Watch the video
